Fancy official kiln ware of begonia Ancient Chinese Porcelain
The begonia bottle is one of the bottle types. It is named after the body of the begonia. I first saw official kilns in the Song Dynasty. There are two types of coarse begonia and fine begonia. The thick begonia-style bottle is a flat body, with four grooves from mouth to toe to divide the body into a four-petal begonia flower shape, with similar caliber, abdominal diameter, and bottom diameter. The mouth is gradually closed, shoulders are slipped, abdomen is long, neck is narrowed, and feet are rolled outward. Some necks have penetrating ears, and some shoulders stick to the head ears. The thin begonia-style bottle is like a general skew-top bottle. It is also divided into four-petal begonia flower-shaped from top to bottom by four grooves, with a long neck decorated with dragon ears, a long round abdomen, and an outer ringed foot. Popular in the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China period. See tea powder glaze
